Application form
We use an online application system, which opens on Tuesday 1 September 2026 at 9.30am and closes on Tuesday 20 October 2026 at midday.
To help you prepare, you can download our application form guidance below. It is for information and practice only and explains what we will ask you, including the character limits for each question.
The main questions will ask you are:
- What change you hope to make in the UK, why it is needed, and who would benefit.
- Why you are the right person to carry out a Fellowship, including the lived and/or learned experience you would bring.
- Why you have chosen particular countries and what you hope to learn from them.
- How you plan to share and use your learning to influence change in the UK.
- Which countries and continents you plan to learn from.
- Whether you will carry out your learning through travel, online from the UK, or a combination of both.
- How many weeks you plan to spend learning from other countries.
We will also ask for details of two referees who have known you well for at least a year and can tell us about your experience and work.
