I have 15 years' experience working in corporate and programme management roles in local government in London and Oxfordshire. I am currently acting as Covid-19 Response Programme Director for Oxfordshire County Council, leading our overall response to the pandemic and the council's relationship with key system partners.
I am passionate about places and communities which is what brought me to the subject of my Fellowship, looking at how social enterprises and local and regional governments worked together in the Pacific north west of the United States and Canada. The work through Covid-19 in particular has been informed and enhanced by the closer understanding of the voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors which I developed through the Fellowship. The time to think, reflect and talk was very special but the opportunity to discuss issues and ideas with those in the sector at home, both before and following the Fellowship, was invaluable.
