Biography

I am the Wellbeing Lead Practitioner across a group of schools in Surrey and a 2016 Fellow who visited the USA and Canada to learn more about how reading and writing can be used to support children's mental health.

On my return, I created a social enterprise based on my Fellowship findings called The Story Project. Through The Story Project, I train and provide resources for teachers and parents so they can use stories to help their children develop wellbeing skills, whilst also developing literacy skills.

A love of stories is a big factor in my own wellbeing and l have learnt a lot of life skills through reading about the experiences of the characters in the books I love. The Story Project enables me to share the power of stories with educators, parents and children, with a vision of using stories to help children develop the skills they need to live happy and healthy lives.
