I currently work for the Scottish Government as the NIDMAR (National Institute of Disability Management and Research) programme, training and upskilling supported employment case managers to facilitate job attainment and retention for individuals living with health and disability issues.
My Fellowship focused on supported education services for students who are living and studying with enduring mental health illnesses. I used the Fellowship learning experience to develop and implement the Focus Education Service in NHS Fife, which aims to ensure that individuals living with severe and enduring mental health problems are supported in accessing and maintaining their education aspirations and future employability options.
