Biography
I am the Co-founder of womenswear brand Careaux, which is founded on inclusivity, sustainability, innovation and positive impact. Alongside, I have volunteering roles with organisations such as Leonard Cheshire Changemakers, Women of the Future and The Tutor Trust.
The topic of my Fellowship is education. I am extremely passionate about accessibility, equality and social mobility. During my volunteering roles and due to having cystic fibrosis, I have seen at first hand the inequalities and how the lack of education and career education impacts lives and generations. Therefore the purpose of my Fellowship is to create and develop inclusive and accessible careers education for primary school children.
I hope my Fellowship will challenge and eradicate stereotypes about industries, subjects and careers, educate about different careers, and integrate careers education with the curriculum to close the attainment gap. Post-Fellowship, I hope to achieve and create a positive lasting impact throughout the UK for the schoolchildren today and of the future.
