Biography

Rediscovering the route that William Lobb explored through South America in the 1840s was a botanical and business triumph. Sir Winston Churchill ordered that tea be grown in the UK and it was a pleasure to finally succeed. Now the first tea grown in England is also Europe's largest tea garden.

I am inspired by simple and powerful communications being transferred into business, such as the Plimsoll Line from shipping now being applied to every trading company.

I am Managing Director of Trading at Tregothnan, advocate of Plimsoll Publishing and founder of businesses, including tremap. This builds on a background of botany and business – the incredible privileges that the Churchill Fellowship opens up.
