Biography

I am a regional schools lead, a national lead of education and I have been a headteacher of various special schools throughout my career. I am passionate about ensuring that the most disadvantaged children are supported to be the best they can be and have spent the majority of my career supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.

My Fellowship will look at ways to encourage self- and co-regulation in children, so they feel valued as members of a community and to develop their skills and understanding of their own value to communities.

I hope to achieve strong networks within groups of young people that support them to make good choices and to both regulate and challenge each other.
