I am a children's rights lawyer and I currently work as a legal consultant at Coram BAAF. Having qualified as a solicitor, my career has been anchored in a profound commitment to advocating for children's rights, with special emphasis on youth justice and community care.
My Fellowship focuses on a crucial area of children's rights: improving access to children’s social care files for people with care experience. This cause holds deep personal and professional significance for me. With the Fellowship's support, I will be travelling to Australia to observe different approaches to addressing shared challenges in social care and, hopefully, to bring back new insights applicable to the context in England and Wales.
I strongly believe in the power of collective action. I am eager to connect with other professionals and peers who share my passion for children's rights. Together, I believe we can contribute to making the children’s social care system more responsive to the needs of those who have experienced it.
