I am Executive Director of Theatre for a Change, an NGO that uses participatory approaches to empower marginalised women and girls in the Global South.
My Fellowship, in 2005, looked at the impact of theatre in communities. At that time I was working in professional theatre, but one of the outcomes of my Fellowship was exploring work in Theatre for Development, which has led to my current role.
I am particularly interested in the use of creative approaches to enable women to share their stories and advocate for their rights, with a focus on disrupting dominant power structures.
