Biography

I'm a training and education consultant, researcher, and the Co-Founder of RARA Education Project CIC, an organisation committed to educational equity and teacher empowerment. I've spent half a decade working with schools, educators and leaders across the UK and internationally to improve outcomes and challenge systemic barriers.

My Fellowship focuses on teacher resilience. I'll be travelling to Ghana to explore how educators working in under-resourced environments build resilience, sustain their well-being and thrive in the face of adversity. I'll also be piloting a Teacher Empowerment Programme, which I aim to adapt and roll out as a CPD model in the UK.

This project is personal to me. As a former teacher and a daughter of African immigrants, I've witnessed both the challenges and strength of educators across contexts. I'm driven by a desire to co-create practical, sustainable solutions that honour teachers' lived experiences and promote long-term well-being in the profession. I hope to contribute to reimagining how we support and retain teachers - not only through policy, but through care, community and culturally grounded practice.
