Our 60th anniversary

Our 60th anniversary

Introduction

2025 marks the 60th anniversary of the Churchill Fellowship – six decades of empowering individuals to explore innovative ideas worldwide and pioneer fresh solutions to pressing challenges across the UK and beyond. Since our inception, we have supported nearly 6,000 Fellows whose groundbreaking work continues to tackle society's most urgent issues, leaving a lasting legacy of innovation and positive change.

Celebrating 60 Years of Fellowship

This year is not only a celebration of our history but also of our Fellows, who have inspired change across the UK and beyond. To honour their achievements and look to the future, we’re hosting a series of events and initiatives:

During 2025 we are delighted to be holding a series of Anniversary Teas hosted by our Chairman Jeremy Soames and Trustees. These gatherings in Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh, London, and Manchester will bring together over 600 Fellows from six decades of Fellowships to reflect, connect, and celebrate.

We are thrilled to launch the Oral History Project, recording the journeys, reflections, and experiences of our Fellows. This living archive will inspire future generations by documenting the Fellowship’s profound impact.

  • Add your voice to this history by joining the project sharing your experience as a Fellow.
  • Volunteer to conduct interviews or help document these incredible stories.

To get involved, contact us at stories@churchillfellowship.org.

In partnership with the UK Philanthropy Archive at the University of Kent, the Archive Project will professionally preserve 60 years of materials – Fellowship reports, event photos, oral histories, and more – for public access.

If you have documents or photos related to your Fellowship to contribute, we’d love to hear from you at stories@churchillfellowship.org.

Our thanks to Fellows

As we celebrate the Churchill Fellowship and our Fellows in 2025, we’re reminded of the power of this community. Together, we have built something extraordinary – an enduring network of inspiration, support, and positive change. Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to the next 60 years, and to all of you who make the Churchill Fellowship what it is!
