Mike Spencer (CF 2025) presented findings from his Fellowship research into using Eurasian otters to locate missing people in water to a new cohort of Police Search Advisers at the Police National Search Centre.
His research and ongoing work were also featured in the October edition of FIRE magazine, in an article titled "The sergeant, the otter and the fortnight nobody can afford", exploring the potential of this approach to aquatic search operations.
