September 2025 Fellows' update: Leisa Nichols-Drew
Leisa Nichols-Drew (CF 2018) presented her research on safer knives at the launch of the De Montfort University Policy Unit.
Her work builds on her Churchill Fellowship research in Australia and Canada, alongside casework in forensic science laboratories, and has informed a collaborative journal article and a United Nations policy brief.
The research has the potential to influence legislative changes to make knives safer, contributing to reduced harm in homes and communities.
