Tai Frater (CF 2019) presented her Churchill Fellowship research on parent coaching in occupational therapy at the World Federation of Occupational Therapists Congress 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Drawing on her visits to New Zealand and Canada, she shared how coaching approaches can strengthen parent autonomy, promote self-efficacy, and support strengths-based practice, including the use of tools such as the F-words framework to focus on what matters most to children and families.
