Dr Gwen Adshead (CF 2008) delivered the 2024 Reith Lectures on BBC Radio 4, titled Four Questions about Violence, drawing on her work as a forensic psychiatrist in secure psychiatric units and prisons.
The Reith Lectures are a series of annual BBC Radio 4 lectures that explore contemporary issues. Started in 1948 to honour Sir John Reith, the BBC's first Director-General, the lectures are intended to increase public understanding and debate.
