Biography

I am a built environment professional and have held various roles focusing on transport and spatial strategies and policies. Currently, I work in Transport for London's Strategy Directorate, where I help shape London-wide and regional strategy. I have contributed to the delivery of schemes such as the London-wide Ultra Low Emission Zone and supporting mitigations like the scrappage scheme.

The UK can better use transport policy to improve health outcomes and protect the most vulnerable in society - particularly children. To do this, my Fellowship looks to Colombia, Denmark and Sweden to gather insights on their transformative policies and interventions that protect their most vulnerable.

I know that those involved in transport policy-making could be more instrumental in improving health outcomes in the UK. I hope to make an impact with my findings by applying them to strategies and policies in London and by collaborating with health and transport professionals throughout the UK to take a proactive approach and create positive lasting change.
