Biography
I work as Life Story Work Coordinator for North Tyneside Council. I was also in the care of North Tyneside when I was a young child before being subsequently adopted. I am very passionate about Life Story Work and improving how local authorities can deliver effective and trauma-informed life story work for all children in care, not just those on a pathway for adoption.
I am keen to connect and learn from best practice in Australia and the USA. My ultimate goal is to create a structured, cost-effective programme for local authorities to use which mobilises the network around a child to both deliver appropriate life story work as well as record and celebrate the child's life during the time they spend in care.
