Biography

I am an inclusion and equity specialist, champion of the child, researcher and courage-builder with an MSc in childhood and youth, National Professional Qualification for Headship and Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts (she-her). I have worked for many years in senior leadership, including as a secondary deputy headteacher, as an independent consultant leading on exclusions and reintegration at Oxfordshire County Council and coaching school leaders through achievement for ALL Cymru. Within the area of special educational needs (SEN) and additional learning needs (ALN) I have experience in strategic development, school and partner schools SEN leadership, children looked after (CLA) governance, research and school improvement.

My professional background and experience covers all matters of inclusion in primary and secondary education, including special needs in England and Wales.
