Biography

I'm an award-winning creative and disability consultant working at the intersection of innovation, inclusion and design. I specialise in creating tangible, impactful solutions that centre disabled and chronically ill people, partnering with creative teams to embed disability justice and universal design principles into both their work and culture.

I'm exploring an often overlooked area of accessibility: travel and transport. In 2023, Britons made over 1.2 billion domestic day trips - yet many disabled travellers, including myself, continue to face major barriers when trying to navigate the UK's travel systems. Motivated by my own experiences as a disabled traveller, I'll be researching inclusive transport solutions in Singapore and Australia, where universal design principles have been more fully integrated. I hope to bring back learnings and inspiration to help reimagine what travel freedom could look like - where journeys are accessible, joyful and equitable for all.
